Founder of Walton Marketing & Communications, Nina has over 18 years’ experience in marketing and communications starting her career in media for a radio station and then regional newspaper business before heading up the marketing function for PwC in Newcastle. CIM qualified, she is currently working for a number of clients across a range of sectors advising on marketing strategy, communications and PR.

When not strategising or storytelling Nina is either running, enjoying a nice glass of Malbec or being Mum to Jack, Lauryn and Smokey the cat!


Brand Strategist & Design Pro

Abbie has worked in the design and digital marketing industry for over 10 years, working with small local companies to international super brands, such as L’Oreal, Mercedes-Benz and Nando’s.

Skills: Graphic design, brand strategy & development, web design, user experience, online and social media marketing

When not building brands Abbie loves holidays in Italy, yoga, meditation, spa days and cocktails.


Brand Strategist & Design Pro

Sarah has over 20 years’ experience in the creative industry. She has worked with a broad spectrum of clients including Bellway Homes, Barker & Stonehouse and One North East, winning several industry awards along the way including New York Festivals and a DBA Design Effectiveness Award.

When not building brands Sarah is Mum of 2 humans and 2 cats. Lover of cocktails, fairy lights and exploring new places - even better if it's at the same time!


Copywriting Creative

Chris was a founding business partner and Creative Director of Everything Different, a Newcastle-based advertising, marketing and content agency which is one the UK’s 100 top advertising agencies (Source: Campaign Magazine). He has worked on multi-platform campaigns for – amongst many others – P&G, Kempinski Hotels and One North East and also taught brand strategy as part of the design faculty at Northumbria University.

When not creating cracking content Chris enjoys playing tennis, reading books, drinking beer and eating ham sandwiches. He likes to think he invented mustard mash...Probably didn't!


PR Pro & Copywriter

Jule Wilson, Chart.PR, is a driven and committed communications leader with more than 14 years’ varied experience across a range of sectors. She is an NCTJ-qualified journalist with an MA in Creative Writing and the CIPR Diploma in Public Relations.

Skills: PR, copywriting and editing

When Jule isn’t writing she is busy taking photos, planning adventures round the globe, reading good books and drinking good tea.


Professional Services Comms Guru

Katy Turner is an experienced PR professional with a passion for words. She's worked in professional services for over 12 years leading PR campaigns across a variety of sectors and is skilled in crisis management. She's won several awards for external and internal communications and is proficient in drafting and tailoring interesting content for print, web and social media.

When Katy isn't crafting engaging content you'll find her out on the Yorkshire moors with her cocker spaniel puppy and three children or enjoying a rhubarb gin.
